“Save The Boy” is a high-stakes, thrilling archery puzzle game! In every carefully crafted level, a poor boy is strung up tightly by ropes, desperately waiting for your rescue. Your only weapon is a trusty bow and arrow. You must pull back the bowstring on your screen and release with pinpoint accuracy to sever the ropes binding him and grant him freedom. But it's never that easy—levels are packed with complex obstacles and tricky mechanisms, requiring keen observation and flawless planning to find the perfect shooting angle and sequence.

Your core objective is to successfully rescue all trapped boys by snipping their ropes before you run out of arrows or their health drains to zero. Each level provides a strict arrow limit and a constantly ticking health bar. You must plan every single shot to accurately cut the crucial ropes without accidentally skewering the hostage.

🎮 Core Gameplay Rules

1. Archery Controls: Drag on the screen to draw your bow, adjust your angle and trajectory, and release to shoot the ropes.

2. Health Bar System: A health bar floats above the boy's head, slowly draining over time. Worse, if your arrow accidentally strikes the boy, his health plummets massively!

3. Ammo Limit: Every level grants a fixed, limited number of arrows, displayed at the top of the screen. You cannot get extra arrows.

4. Level Progression: The game is split into chapters containing multiple levels. As you progress, obstacle density and structural complexity heavily increase.

5. Escalating Difficulty: Later stages feature moving traps and multi-rope puzzles, severely ramping up the challenge.

6. Game Over Conditions

• You run out of arrows before rescuing all hostages.

• The countdown timer expires before everyone is saved.

• The boy's health drops to zero.

Entirely mouse-operated: Click and hold the Left Mouse Button, drag backwards to draw the bowstring, move the mouse to aim your shot, and release the button to fire.

The health bar drops too fast! What do I do?

Health drains at a constant, unavoidable speed. The only solution is to solve the puzzle faster and shoot the ropes quicker, all while avoiding friendly fire. If you can't figure out the angle for one specific rope, don't stare at it—look around the map for an easier target so you don't waste precious time.

What happens if my arrow hits the boy?

Hitting the hostage inflicts massive damage to his health bar. If it hits zero, it's an instant Game Over. When aiming, actively avoid trajectories pointing directly at his body. Try to find clear angles where the rope isn't blocking him.

I always run out of arrows! Any tips?

Scan the whole scene before shooting to ensure every single arrow serves a purpose. Many levels are cleverly designed so that a single well-placed arrow can slice through multiple ropes at once. Find that golden angle and you'll easily conserve ammo.
