• The Prep Stage: Before the ink hits the skin, you must handle the basics:

  • Check the client’s heart rate, temperature, and blood pressure.
  • Disinfect the skin with iodine.
  • Apply a numbing shot to keep the client comfortable.

• The Creative Stage: Choose where to work: Arm, Neck, Waist, or Back.

  • Space Matters: Arms are great for small icons; the back and waist are perfect for large designs.
  • Outline & Ink: Apply the stencil first, then use the needle to draw the lines.
  • Stay Clean: Wipe away blood during the process to keep your work neat.
  • Coloring: Use a wide range of colored inks to bring your art to life. You can finish one part and move to another for a full-body look!
