“Two Bros: It Takes Two” is an insanely fun and chaotic 2-player co-op platformer! The core hook? In Endless Ladder Mode, constantly climb upwards, saving each other from falling, to set the ultimate high-score record!

🎮 Core Gameplay Rules

1. The Basics: The game requires two inputs (or two highly coordinated fingers for solo players). Each player controls one character. Because you are tied together, if one jumps, the other gets yanked! You must take turns jumping to inch your way forward.

2. Deadly Terrain: The map is filled with icy blocks that make you slide, and lethal spike pits. If even ONE of you touches a spike, the game is instantly over for both.

3. Game Over Conditions: You lose if either player touches a trap, if both players fall into the abyss simultaneously, or if you run out of lives.

4. The Rescue Mechanic: This is crucial! If Player 1 slips and falls into the abyss, they will dangle from the rope. Player 2 (if safely on a platform) can jump backward to use the rope's tension to haul Player 1 back up onto the ledge!

6. Game Modes

• Adventure Mode: Standard levels with a clear finish line. Get both bros to the flag to win.

🛠️ UI & Controls

The screen has three main buttons for controlling the chaos:

1. Jump Button: Tap to make the currently active character jump. The screen indicates whose turn it is (1P or 2P).

2. Direction Toggle: Flips your jump direction. Click this, then jump, to leap backward instead of forward.

3. The Scissors:

• Normally, you are permanently tied together.

• By watching a quick ad, you can temporarily Cut The Rope, allowing both characters to move entirely independently to bypass an impossible trap.

What does 'Forward/Backward Jump' mean?

Forward jumps launch your character in the direction of the finish line. Backward jumps launch you in reverse. You'll need to use backward jumps to reposition yourselves, untangle the rope, or haul a fallen teammate up from a cliff!

My friend fell off the map! Is it over?

Not yet! As long as one of you is still standing safely on a platform, the fallen player will just dangle from the rope. The safe player can jump away from the ledge to literally yank their friend back up to safety. But if you both fall... it's game over.

What's the difference between Adventure and Ladder mode?

Adventure Mode features hand-crafted levels with an actual ending; get to the flag to win. Ladder Mode has no end—you just keep jumping higher and higher onto platforms until you both eventually miss a jump and fall, competing purely for the high score.
