I'm completely stuck! What should I do?
First, re-examine your inventory—do you have items you haven't used yet? Can two items be combined? Next, revisit areas you've already explored; you might have missed a subtle number code or a hidden compartment. If you're truly stumped, the game features a built-in Hint system. Just click the Hint button (usually a lightbulb icon) on the screen for a nudge in the right direction!
Why does nothing happen when I click on certain objects?
Not every object in the room is interactive. Purely decorative items won't react. More importantly, many key objects or puzzle mechanisms require a "prerequisite" item before you can interact with them. For example, a locked drawer won't open until you select a key from your inventory, and a keypad won't trigger until you've found the clue showing the code format. Keep exploring and collecting items first!
Is there a time limit? What happens if I take too long?
There are zero time limits! You can explore, think, and solve puzzles entirely at your own pace. Taking a long time will never cause a 'Game Over' or reset your progress. The game focuses on the joy of logical deduction, making it perfect for playing in short bursts or sitting down for a long, immersive session.
Do I have to solve the puzzles in a strict, linear order?
No. The game is highly non-linear. You are free to explore any corner of the room and tackle whichever puzzles you have the clues for. You can bounce between different tasks as you please. As long as you meticulously gather all the clues, unlock all the necessary mechanisms, and eventually secure the final door key, you will successfully escape!
