Your mission in Nut Sorter is to organize the chaos. Your core objective is to move the colorful nuts between the bolts until every bolt holds only one single color. Successfully sorting all colors will clear the board and unlock the next challenging level!

Core Mechanics

The game progresses through a level-based system—conquer one stage to advance your rank and unlock the next tier of complexity.

• Level Progression: As your level increases, so does the heat! Expect more colors, more bolts, and increasingly intricate nut arrangements that will test your foresight.
• Winning Condition: The level is cleared only when every nut on the screen has been sorted by color, with each bolt containing a uniform set of nuts.
• Sorting Restrictions: To maintain the challenge, you can only place a nut onto a bolt that is either empty or has a nut of the matching color on top.
• Capacity Limits: Each bolt has a maximum capacity. Once a bolt is full, you cannot add any more nuts until space is cleared.

• Mouse/Touch: Click or tap a nut to select it, then click the target bolt to move it.

What should I do when the levels get too complex to find a path?

In high-level stages with dense color mixing, don’t rush your moves. The best strategy is to isolate one color at a time. Try to identify the color with the fewest nuts and clear those first. This helps you empty out a bolt completely, giving you a temporary holding spot to rearrange the more crowded bolts.

What happens if all my bolts are full and I’m stuck?

If your bolts reach full capacity and you have no legal moves, take a moment to look for bolts where a color set is almost complete. Prioritize finishing those stacks first. Completing a stack "locks" that color and often frees up space elsewhere. If you’re completely blocked, you can always hit the Restart button to try a fresh approach with a new strategy!
