20.8k

Apple Worm is an incredibly fun logic puzzle game. Its core gameplay borrows from the classic Snake mechanic while breaking free from traditional Snake constraints. Players control a worm, flexibly bending it into various poses to first collect apples and grow, then navigate through black holes (portals) to escape each level. Gameplay is simple and intuitive, requiring only basic button controls. Levels progress from easy to challenging, making it perfect for quick, casual play during spare moments while also satisfying players' desire to explore complex logic puzzles. It's an excellent brain teaser that combines logical thinking training with relaxing entertainment.

Apple Worm

Apple Worm 游戏描述

如何游玩 Apple Worm

The game features 30 unique levels with progressively increasing difficulty. Each level has a fixed layout and clear objectives (collect apples + reach the portal). Players can unlock challenges sequentially and tackle levels independently in single-player mode.
Growth Mechanics: Worms must first obtain apples to complete their size growth. After growing, they unlock additional movement capabilities, enabling passage through previously impassable paths.
Level Clear Rules: After collecting apples, the worm must reach the portal (black hole) within the level to complete the current stage and unlock the next challenge. If direct access to the portal is impossible, adjust the worm's form by collecting more apples and try again.
Level Mechanics: Initial levels focus on familiarizing players with basic controls, while subsequent levels feature progressively complex environments. Players must strategically plan the worm's movement paths using logical reasoning, with the core challenge testing spatial awareness and logical deduction skills.

Game Controls

Basic Movement: Use the arrow keys or WASD keys to control the worm's direction, guiding it to move forward, turn, bend, and perform other actions within the scene.
Level Reset: Press the "R" key to restart the current level. When you find the worm in an unbeatable situation, it quickly resets to replan its path.

The core objective is to control the worm to collect apples in each level, grow its body, and ultimately reach the portal to clear the stage. Players progressively tackle all 30 levels of increasing difficulty, overcoming puzzles ranging from simple mechanics to complex logic. Through persistent experimentation and critical thinking, players enhance their puzzle-solving skills to unlock and complete every level.

关于 Apple Worm 游戏的常见问题

Does the worm have to eat the apple first to clear the level?

Yes. Apples are crucial for the worm's growth. Only after consuming apples to complete its physical development can the worm meet the requirements to traverse complex paths and reach the portal.

After the level reset, will the positions of the apples and portals change?

No. The scene layout, apple placement, and portal positions are fixed for each level. Resetting a level only restores the worm to its initial state, allowing players to try different movement strategies.

Does the operation method change after the worm grows?

No. Worm growth only alters its size and movement range. The core control logic remains unchanged. Players can leverage their existing control habits to complete challenges.

In what aspects does the difficulty increase in later levels?

Later levels feature more complex scene layouts, such as adding obstacles and narrow passages, requiring players to plan the worm's movement path with greater precision.
