Words or Die is a brain-teasing game that tests your vocabulary and reflexes. Multiple players stand together on a platform above molten lava. Once the game begins, a spinning wheel appears with letters on it. Within the time limit, swipe letters to form as many words as possible. Each word you spell makes the platform rise. Spell words fast to avoid the lava!
The game presents a set of letters, and players must quickly form valid words using these letters. Upon successfully creating a word, blocks will stack beneath your feet, allowing you to stand on them and avoid the rising lava. The objective is to survive as long as possible while the lava rises.
Game maps are typically flat areas with lava pools at the bottom. Characters players control will die instantly upon contact with lava.

The core objective is to become the last survivor. You must quickly form valid words using the letters provided each round to generate blocks that build platforms, allowing you to avoid the lava. If you endure until all other players are eliminated, you win the round.
The wheel displays the set of letters available for this round. You must select letters from this set and slide them into place to form a valid English word. The entire process must be completed as quickly as possible before the countdown ends.
Each letter may only be used once when spelling words. The only exception is: if the wheel itself contains duplicate letters (such as two "E"s), then you may use both identical letters in your word accordingly.
